Okay... im back lol

I had to rush out to the store to pick up some sausage for the bbq tomorrow and a friend of mine took me so i had to rush off lol. Still back again now and im emailing and typing here at the same time so excuse my terrible typing and spelling mistakes lol. I have to try to get a few emails done while i have a bit of free time as at the weekend i am already loaded up with stuff for my groups and the bbq etc. I have to get some of the stuff i use with my classes emailed to the other school too so theycan see what sort of extra material i have been using with my groups like MEC etc. Alot of it though is grammar or extra vocabulary so i dont know if they will use it or not but my students they seem to like the extra vocab ones alot as i try to find something that they dont always know. Im still looking for some Ebonics stuff too for the other site as well as trying to help students to join the site so they can post things there that other MEC students can read. Its going to be good once i get around to sorting everyone out :-)

Okay im going to go sort out some emails now or i will run out of time to get them all done lol..

Ive got no time lol

My i have been so busy here lol, i havent even had time to post all week long with planning the things for the students bbqq at the weekend. I have had my cell phone ringing all the time with people asking me things and then planning to watch films with other students too but finally im getting on top of things now :-)

I will try to find time to post later on and also im working on some photos too for this site... Stay by your set for news okay? lol

I can still hear the music lol

I just got back from downtown where i was attending a music festival in the center of plano piloto and i have to say it was really good. There were quite a few bands and they played just one song each but they were modern and up to date bands with alot of metal etc or indie so it was excellent. I didnt understand everything they sang as it wasnt in english but they were really good. I got some photos for my parents back in england as they love seeing photos of things like this :-) All i have to do now is hope that they turn out as the back of the camera accidentally came open :-( still it wasnt bright daylight but dark so maybe those few photos will be okay... fingers crossed right? :-)

I see there have been a few alterations to blogger according to their site, nice :-). A spell checker too that is brilliant as the one in Wbloggar always crashes my pc for some reason. It'll come in handy when i use the blogger site at work :-) I will play with the other stuff they added later on as i have loads of emails to write and also have to type up some stuff for tomorrow for work that i should have done this afternoon (Yeah thats right, but i was dancing away in Plano Piloto lol) Oh nice a file upload option as well, thats really good :-) something i can try out at work with my students who access the school weblog from thier own computers :-)

Anyway im off to get showered and eat and then make a start on all the things i still have to do before i hit the sack..... Nite Nite :-)

Thi8s morning its really hot here in Brasil.. well in this part of Brasil anyway lol. Its 10.20am and most people here are watching the Grand Prix but i got online inste4ad for a while. This afternoon my friends told me that there is some sort of musical festival in Brasilia so i went to get some film this morning and ill spend the day in the city i think as my parents were telling me they want some more photos :-). they love to see photos of Brasil so i pickled up a 36 roll, that should keep them going for a while i hope :-) I will just have to hope that they have some interesting things downtown for me to take photos of lol.

I spent a little time adding a couple of new things to the site i havew for my students. Usually the stuff i post is related to the groups i teach and yesterday i dug up some funny stuff about Ebonics, well its not true Ebonics but something to make the students laugh a little and hopefully they will look online for some things similar to this. I will find some proper stuff for it later in the week i think when i have some time free, which at the moment isnt very often. Recently i find that i spend more time at the school doing extra activities than anything else lol. Its nice though and the students enjoy doing these different things alot too :-)

Yesterday after class i went to the Restaraunt with some of my students just to have luinch, for them it was a good opportunity to proactice speaking in english and i think they had alot of fun. This group is alot of fun to teach.. i like teenagerish groups as they like to have fun and its easy for my to change between methodology and talking about something a little different. Yesterday we even found time to do a little stuff that i was teaching to my MEC3 students too lol. I like to try to talk about something different from time to time just to make sure that the lesson stays fun and interesting> So before i carry on here lets say hi to my Students lol.... Hi Ana Rita, Faridah, Camilla, Eder, Leonard, Al, Kelly and Verissimo :-)

After lunch with my group i went to the cinema to see the film 'Extrordinary League Of Gentlemen' and its actually quite good. I enjoyed it alot and it has some good special effects as well. Nemo's submarine looks impressive but not like i thought it would after reading the book lol. This afternoon i dont know if i will go to the cinema, it will depend on what time i decide to go downtown as i have loads to prepare for my classes or how much decent music they have their and photo opportunities for pics for my parents cak in the UK lol

Anyway time to go get some coffee and have breakfast so ill stop here for now...
