The day of reckoning has arrived lol

Wow its roasting this morning, im already sweating and ive only been up an hour or so. A sign of a good day right? :-) Thats good as today i find out my schedule from work and see what groups and students i will get. Itll be interesting to see what sort of groups i have as usually i just get advanced ones and maybe i will get some lower groups so i can have the experience of teaching at this level. It would be nice to try out a kids group as well as kids love to mess around and have fun too, maybe im too old and dont have enough energy for this though ;-) Ill find out this afternoon, hopefully that lazy cleaner will have made some coffee today although i wont hold my breath. I dont understand what that woman does as i never see her doing anything apart from watching mtv. I really hope i dont get the group that she is in, Omg what a nightmare thatll be lol.

I still have loads of stuff to prepare for those conversation classes too, well thats if they actually get going as i havent met with both directors yet to see what will happen with those at the other school. I have quite a few things now but if they stick to the times they suggested i will need a quite a few more too lol. Ill have to ask about it later on and see whats been planned. I like conversation classes as i get to do something thats not methodology and i think that they like to do something thats different from all the usual books and stuff :-)

I just got off the phone with Marina one of the directors and she was telling me that they want to change some of the times that i put down on my hours of availability so ill find out what that will be later on. I wonder what times they want to change? i tried to leave myself some evenings free so i am guessing that they are going to change that as there are MEC groups at one of the schools that are only at night and i usually teach those. I like MEC though as its different as they dont have to learn how to speak english as they already speak and know grammar :-). Now i am very curious to see whats being changed and what groups i will end up with lol

I guess i had better go and have breakfast and get something done. I will nip to the bakers and see if they have some warm bread as i love bread straight from the oven :-)

I need Some Pepsi - For a change lol

Im waiting to go over to the school as i have to collect some certificates that need to be taken to the other school tomorrow. Funny thing is that i have had them for over a week in my bag and then got reminded about them yesterday night when i was checking over a new test for the trainee teachers. Oh well they will only be a little late lol. The new test for teachers involves having a written part now that didnt exist when i took my test, i thought that they had picked a strange expression to use for the written part - Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder.. Something else for me to write up and post on the computers in the laboratories then i guess ;-)

Tomorrow is the teachers training course, im so so looking forward to attending... Can you tell? :-) A whole day of talking about methodology, you will never know how boring it is :-( I was hoping that we would maybe just get some pizza and popcorn and some pepsi and watch movies all day, at least it would have been fun and interesting and you can bet the whole day they will talk in portugues.. They did last semester and i spent six hours playing the snake game on my cell phone :-(. Last time there were people who didnt talk english too, i will be curious to see how they are going to perform it this time around. Of course the teachers meeting will be better with the directors as there are some things that need to be sorted out at one of the schools.. There is never any coffee and the cleaning woman has no idea how to make it. Although i was told that she hides it so she doesnt have to make any - What sort of behavior is this? lol Yeah you guessed it... she is completely dead from the neck up ;-)

Im debating whether to go and play counterstrike for something to do as it is so boring here today, i could go to the school and there at the same time and kill two birds with one stone.. hmmmm. The other day they had some new levels to play which was nice as i got to try out some of the other stuff, the problem is when you go and its full of just kids as its alot harder to play then. They tend to all get killed and im left to take on all the others on my own.. fun but crazy lol. ill go just for an hour or so otherwise i will waste most of the afternoon and evening by the time i get back from the school as well. Let me check how much cash i have here as i know i need to visit the bank as i am getting a bit low on funds... yeah more than enough to go ;-)

Okay im off to get showered and kick arse at the Lanhouse :-)

Need a break here :-)

Im having a break from typing at the mo, im just finishing the presentation stuff for next week at the teachers meeting. I wont really make it too long as its for teachers so i think around 5-10 minutes is more than enough, for me anyways lol. I couldnt think of any activities to do though but i have some that i use with MEC and i think these will be a good laugh once they get into it. The problem is that most activities i have arent really to amuse teachers as i designed them for teenagers lol. So long as i get paid thats the main thing ;-)

Im using Kazza at the moment to increase the amount of english stuff i have to read. There are many authors books and material online that are just sitting there waiting to be plucked so i have around a dozen books now that will last me a few days i think :-) iI have been managing to read one of these books in a day which for me is a little slow as i usually manage to read one alot faster than that. But its different reading on the screen than having a book to lay on the bed or sofa with lol. I have just about got all of the David Eddings ones that i like, they are impossible to get over here, i think its maybe because they havent translated them into portugues so they didnt bother shipping the books here in english. I think that Kazaa ia going to get alot of use from now on, i didnt think about getting books online with so many people talking only of music, my oh my lol. Of course i will still buy books as i love to read but the hard ones that are not here i can just look online knowing that some kind hearted person has it ready for me to download lol.

I wonder if i can find some stuff to use in my conversation classes too? lol

Sorry just had to get some coffee as i am feeling a little sleepy here, i was awake most of the night reading and then couldnt get back to sleep again :-) I think that tonite i will have an early night, well earlyish ;-) I think there is a good film on though later on so i may watch that even though its in portugues and also badly translated lol.

I read online on another Weblog about something called Blogbuddy which turns out to be another one of these programs like Wbloggar but it didnt seem to have all of the options that Wbloggar seems to have. But for people who just want a simple way to post i think its okay. I will post the link to it later on as i cant remember it at the moment.

Anyway i need to get showered and eat and then to read for a while so im outta here for now :-)
