Well later it is, actually its around 10.15pm now here in brasil and i got soaked on the way home from work after the sky just opened up right over my head. Well it wasnt just my head but a few thousand brasilians as well :-). Si now i am dried off and have been toying with the code for the page and added a little message voard thing that loads of people seem to use and have also been having a lok at some of the other peoples blogs as well. I will have to add any interesting ones to my links when i get a minute free to alter it. I still have to add an email link yet too, ill get around to it sometime. anyway now i am here coffee in hand and spending a few minutes typing before i watch tv in bed remembering to set the timer so it turns off when i have nodded off :-) Dont you just love falling asleep in front of the tv? and here in brasil its alot faster because the tv is unfortunately a BIG pile of shit. You think i am joking? i promise you i am not :-)
Tomorrow i am going to the paraguay fair here to price up for parts to build my own computer, so far i have quite a good price from one place downtown but in the uk i used to always build my own pc and want to do one here to use for my computer courses and stuff. The paraguay fair is like a computer and electronics fair all in one and is supposed to be dirt cheap so we will see tomorrow just how cheap it really is wont we???? Expect a report on here when i get back okay? :-) With a bit of luck i should get a quite decent one built although i wont go over the top. Its going to be a dual boot system so i can try out linux too, not because i have anything against windows or microsoft but because i love messing around with this stuff. I think it´ll be either windows 2000 or windows XP and then the linux to mess with later. Should be fun and im quite looking forward to it. Any way time to end and go get ready to see whats on the tv while i am reading my book. What book you are asking? okay it´s called Mind Hunter by John Douglas let you know if its any good as i only started it this afternoon :-)

Well its morning here and the computer is on a GO SLOW day for some reason. Just finished watching the end of that film as it was 4hrs long and it wasnt too bad apart from some very wooden aussie actors. I think i´ll get the book and read it as i am sure they will have missed out loads of stuff from it.
got a load of stuff to correct for work later too, loads of students stuff to look through and mark and then this afternoon a shitload of stuff to be added to the lesson plans as well. Boring or what? :-). But before i do that i will definately have to make a change to the template for my page as it looks so shitty. I found out about a thing to add to the page too, some sort of message board type thingy so i will add the html code for it this morning too just so i can see what it looks like. Maybe i´ll set up one of these pages to use at work too, have to think about it and see if i can think of something useful that my students can use it for. Luckily my bosses are having Asdl installed into the labs at work so the students can use it to access the internet and of course i´ll use it too on the boring days lol. Maybe some sort of discussion board would go down well too, have to get my thinking cap on i guess and see what weird and wonderful ideas i can come up with right? :-)
THe net connection here today is so slow, our pc is from the ark too so that doesnt help. but here in brasil is pay by minute still, they havent caught up with the rest of the world yet with block access apart from Asdl. Unfortunately though where i live in brasil hasnt got asdl yet so i have to put up with being dissed every five or ten minutes or so. C´mon Telebrasilia get it sorted out okay cause its getting bloody fustrating now. Okay time to go and alter the template a little and see how it looks as i am running out of time and have to go have lunch and get ready for work........Thrilling aint it? :-)

Hmmmmmmmmmm well today has been bloody boring, nothing to do as i dont teach today so i spent most of the day trying to figure out how to use a program i downloaded from the net the other day only to find out that the home version doesnt allow people to save anything..... what a crock!!!!!!!!!!. the news here in brasil hasnt really been mentioning the war in Iraq either although i spent an hour earlier on reading about it online but to be honest its very boring. who wants to read about Iraq getting blown away by huge and overwhelming forces.
I must remember to change the scheme of my blog too, there choices at the start are a bit dull so ill swap it for something a bit more interesting. I wonder what sort of stuff they have and if the templates are easy to alter because i am lazy and usually use frontpage for everything lol. Let me take a visit to the magical template page and see what wonders are there okay?????? Hmmm oh well there wasnt really anything i liked so i chose at random, you know just closed eyes and jabbed finger at the screen and came up with a wierd dog template thing. Im going to publish now to see what it looks like lol. Hmmm well it looks very strange a bit like something that a guy who has sniffed a couple of kilos of cocaine might have chosen but it will do for now and ill edit it a bit when i get time free later on.
Oh on the news they are saying that they dont know if they have killed saddam or not...... what does this mean something along the lines of........

George Bush - Well men have we got him??????
Army Commander - Well sir i think so, we are just waiting for confirmation
George Bush - For gods sake man, Do you know who i am? i´m George Dubbya Bush now move your ass soldier and find out if we killed saddam so i can take over Iraq´s oil......Oh i mean help the poor Iraqi´people

George Bush - Awwwwwwwwwww Shit!!!!!!!!!!

Got a video to watch tonite too, its only 4hrs long or something like that. A stephen king film called The Storm Of The Century i wonder if it will be any good. Not that it matters as i dont have to get up early for work inthe morning as my groups are only in the afternoon. I´m beginning to suffer from internet slowdown here, this happens all the time in brasil at the weekends as people all jump online to take advantage of the cheaper rate. See theres no block access here the phone companies exploit the phone and internet users something terrible. I´ll go watch my film i think and get some coffee :-)
