Man it's a hot one today

Wow!!!!! its been red RED hot here in Brasilia today, it was so hot that i had to have two mcdonalds ice creams just to keep cool hahaha. its getting on for 7pm here now and im still dripping from the heat. Ill get a shower as soon as the bathroom is free and just sit under the cold water for half an hour to see if that helps :-)

So this week was exam week and everything went just fine with all of my students that have taken their tests doing great. I have a group that still has to do theirs but we are behind schedule and i think itll be after xmas by the time they get their exam done and corrected. By this time though i will already be gone and waiting for the new semester to start. Nice thing was a new school is going to open here and they asked me if i would like top go for an interview there so thats something to look forward too :-) It'll be interesting to see what they have to say and about what sort of lessons they would like me to give, something with a bit more freedom for me i hope so i can try out some new idea i got from both books and online :-)

This week had another suprise in store for me :-). A BIG suprise actually. One of my students Roberta and i, we have been flirting quite a bit but both thinking that neither wasnt interested in the other but anyway the other day i invited her to have lunch with me which was really nice. Yesterday evening Roberta called me to ask me if i would like to attend a party with her, just a small birthday party and it was really nice and we had alot of fun. At the end of the night after talking though we had both discovered that we were both quite interested, well it would be better to say extremely interested i think and well you can work out the rest im sure hahaha. So after a few hours of dancing (Yes i danced its true but dont laugh okay? lol) talking and one or two kisses we are going to go on a date tomorrow hopefully if she can get a ride into the city :-) You wouldnt belive how many text message we have been sending to each other, enough for me to add around R$45 to my cell phone bill hahaha. Life is full of suprises they always say and mine certainly suprises me but this time in the nicest way possible :-)

As you can see my postings are a few days apart again because of the exams and also problems that are now solved with the monitor. The guy from the store brought us another one instead which was nice as we dont have to keep being without a monitor while he tries to solve the problem :-) Im hoping that they will get the internet fixed soon at work so that we can use it in the vacation time although i am going to help two of my students (Leonardo and Roberta.. Yes the one from this post hahaha) revise for a test to jump levels and go another one higher than the one they should go into next semester. The two of them have done really well this semester and their level is excellent and more than enough i think to get into TT2.

]Okay i had better go and do some emails as soon the others will want to check their email and i also have a video to watch before i call Roberta later on.. Have fun guys, oh and what happened to going to the movies? lol
