My brothers fishing trip :-)

Well as you can see i have Wbloggar installed again and also my brothers fishing photos as well. I want a digital camera but they are so expensive here that i wont buy one of them. I was amazed how expensive they were but my friend has one so maybe ill get him to snap a few off so i can post here and you guys can see okay?

Right time to go and watch Rush hour 2 on video.. Have fun okay? Nite Nite lol

Its download time again lol

Wbloggar is downloading at the moment as i type this post. I had to format the computer yesterday and forgot to back up the programs so now i have to get it installed all over again. Not that it takes long as its only a small program but its very good as it has built in Ftp function. I'll have to show my students how to use it so they dont have to spent all their time on the blogger website as the net is very expensive here.

I found out earlier on the Bloglet site isnt working although im still getting posts from it when i update my sites. Wierd aint it? lol. hopefully it wont last too long and will be up and running soon as i want to add bloglet to another site i have created.. more on that later on okay? :-).

Wow six more days until Eliane will be back from her vacation, itll be nice as then we can plan our picnic lol... It will be Elianes first picnic too she told me :-)

Okay the new site yes?.... i posted i was going to create one for the students to use remember?. Well its up and running now and im just fine tuning it a little to get it looking a bit better. It has a tag-board too for messages etc and im in the middle of inviting the students to join and post on it. I was just going to have it at Blogger but decided at the last minute to host it over at Tripod so we would have the option of posting pictures etc later on if we wanted to as some students have access to scanners etc :-)

Okay Wbloggar has finished downloading so let me get off here and install so i can post again later okay? ;-)

Wow its throwing it down here :-)

Its really hammering it down here at the moment so this will just be very short lol. also i have to get up early in the morning as i have to teach a class for another teacher. I hope the rain has stopped by then or the road outside will be like a swamp :-)

Anyway time to go and try to setup a weblog for my groups to use so bye for now :-)

We have rain...Yeah!!!!!!!!

Finally tonite we have some rain here in brasil, i got soaked coming to work but i dont mind.. after all im from wet and wild england remember? lol. the nice thing is that it will kill off all the dust that has been blowing around and getting into everything. You wouldnt believe how dirty my jeans get just from walking up the road from all the orange dust that seems to be everywhere at this time of the year :-)

Im just having a quick look at my email while i post here as i have class in a little while. I will download the Wbloggar program later on to upload my brothers fishing photos to the site or maybe tomorrow if i dont get time tonite. it will depend on how long it takes for the students to arrive here in the middle of this thunderstorm we are now having here. In fact now its thundering i had best post and get the computer powered down in case anything happens

I cant think of a title right now :-)

Im still trying to wake up here as i was up half of the night watching films lol. Plus today it is really hot too so i am starting to feel drowsy and i have yet to give my classes ;-) They are all master groups though so i know i am going to have a fairly easy day as they speak excellent english :-)

I spent this morning typing up some stuff that i am going to use with my groups later on in the semester. Grammar and stuff for conversation groups and all sorts of things that i will do with the MEC groups just to break it up a little. First we have to get on schedule though as they are waiting for the last of their books etc to arrive. I think by the end of this week they will have and by the end of next week i will be all up to date and maybe even a little ahead ;-).. We will have to wait and see i guess...

Later on at the other school i am going to uninstall their office program and reinstall it as i cant get the english dictionary to load when i type on the computers there. I have no idea why it wont accept it but a fresh install of office should sort it out.. I hope lol. Why cant things just work i will never know ;-)

I still havent got around to installing an ftp program either yet at the other school but will try to get it done this week or install Wbloggar there instead as it has built in ftp facilities.. plus i like that program too ;-) They have asdl so it will only take a couple of minutes for it to be downloaded and setup. Then i have to convince the secretaries not to uninstall it agaon lol.. Can you see just how much fun i have? :-)

anyway time to go get ready for class now as i have only a few minutes to get offline and round my students up :-)

Wow its hot here :-)

Its blistering here this afternoon, im not sure what the temp is but its too hot to stand outside in the sun. Myself though id like to see just a bit of rain to kill off all the dust in the streets and to cool it down just a touch too. Perhaps its because im british and i miss seeing a little rain.. what do you think? ;-)

I got an email from my brother the other day withsome pics of him on a fishing trip. i have to install an ftp program at work so i can use it to upload the photo to this site and will do it sometime this week when i get a moment free. I have a shitload of stuff to photocopy too that i typed up here over the last few days. See how busy i am? lol Its all in good fun though
